A free and useful tool for Configuration Manager 2012

This right-click tool for Configuration Manager 2012 allows analysts and administrators the ability to list all resources along with their compliance status for a specific update without having to use the Reporting Point.

The tool makes use of an results grid and shows systems missing the software update. The last status update shows the last time the client returned a compliance evaluation.

Installation Instructions

1. Unzip the attached zip file (Download Here)

2. Copy the update.system.compliance.ps1 file into the ..\AdminConsole\bin directory.

By default on a x64 bit system the SCCM Console is installed into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager directory.

3. If your console is installed into the default location skip this step. Otherwise Edit one of the update.system.compliance.xml files. Change the -File path as shown below.

Don’t forget to overwrite all other update.system.compliance.xml files with the one you updated!

4. Copy the 3 GUID Folders from the zip file into the ..\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\Actions folder

By default on a x64 bit system the SCCM Console is installed into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager directory.

5. Restart your Configuration Manager Console to see the right click tool.

Note: You should always trial anything new in the lab and ensure you check the contents of any files carefully.
